For Reel proudly presents the Massachusetts premiere screening of SNAPSHOTS, the award-winning film directed by Melanie Mayron (Jane The Virgin, Pretty Little Liars) and starring Hollywood veteran Piper Laurie (3X Oscar nominee). Based on a true story, SNAPSHOTS is a poignant, heartfelt portrayal of love in all its complexities.
Weaving parallel stories from the early 1960’s to the present, SNAPSHOTS transports us in and out of the lives, loves, and secrets of three generations of women: grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter. Visiting together at the family lake house, they discover powerful revelations that will challenge them to transform their lives and heal their relationships with each other. More info

Out! For Reel kicks off our new season with an uplifting celebration of our LGBTQ community in a short opening program before the film screening. We are delighted to present singer Evelyn Harris for inspiration, motivation, and a really fun time. A powerhouse vocalist and former member of Sweet Honey In the Rock, Evelyn is a Grammy-nominated composer whose voice, spirit, and life force energy uplifts and charges up every audience she performs for.
